Makers Empire is delighted to announce that we have been accepted into the MassChallenge 4-month business accelerator program in Boston.
Now in its sixth year, MassChallenge is one of the largest and most sought after accelerator programs in the world, having helped launch over 600 startups that have gone on to raise almost $1 billion dollars, generated over $485 million in revenue and created over 5,000 jobs.
MassChallenge is an independent, not-for-profit that aims to “strengthen and accelerate entrepreneurs by providing them high-quality, personalized mentorship and by connecting them to potential team members, advisors, customers and sponsors.”
“We’re thrilled to be accepted into the MassChallenge program,” said Jon Soong, CEO of Makers Empire. “This is a fantastic opportunity for us and will exponentially help us understand the US market and help our push to make high volume sales of Makers Empire’s Learning Program to US schools and institutions.”
So between June and September 2015, Jon Soong, Anthony Chhoy and Lap Leung will be mostly based in the MassChallenge headquarters in Seaport, Boston, as they take part in the accellarator program. The rest of the Makers Empire team will continue working out of our office at the University of South Australia.
